CAMA News:

I was in Peru in March to meet with Alliance leadership from all over Latin America, to

see how CAMA might strategically connect with Alliance countries to develop holistic ministry.  Here are some highlights.
  • We are connecting with the Lince church in Lima, Peru as they work together with the Alliance in Cuba.  Due to  poverty  the economic hardships for pastors and their families and churches is severe.  New laws in Cuba now allow for limited micro-business development.  CAMA plans to have micro-business seminars to help pastors and others slowly provide for their economic well being.
  • CAMA's continued work with a church in Bogota, Colombia continues.  The church reaches out to poor girls and street gang members through a sewing skills ministry. CAMA is helping the project develop a business plan, plus is setting up a distribution chain to help sell these items in the US to help with the ministry's development. (See picture of the church and some of the items the girls are making).
Stay tuned!
