To new friends and old friends and to those who open this and think.... “Do I know you?”

Here is the latest news from the Butlers in Ecuador.

Bryon continues working with CAMA Services (www.camaservices.org) in disaster relief and helping churches develop projects throughout Latin America. He is working with churches in Bogota that work with street kids/gang members in a sewing skills workshop, and also in Bogota with a church hoping to work with ex-guerrilla fighters. In Paraguay a project is beginning to help a Christian school become more self-funded and, maybe, a work in Cuba to help churches develop small-business activities to help lesson poverty. The projects can be slow and take time, but CAMA is thrilled to be able to walk along side these churches as they make a wholistic difference in their communities.  Recent trips for Bryon have included two trips to Peru and one to Austin, Texas.

Christine continues to work at the Alliance Academy, serving as administrator for the secondary school director. Her invaluable help is appreciated by all. Elizabeth (15) Emily (13) and Andrés (10) continue to thrive there and are involved with sports, music, student government and making lots of friends.

A new change for this coming year is that Bryon, along with his CAMA work, will be working at the Academy as a history teacher. He's looking forward to this return to the classroom and being closer to the family each day.

Our goal is to make an impact for Jesus Christ in Latin America and beyond through education and relief and development.
